Thomas Joseph Romanosky's Obituary
Mr. Thomas Joseph “Romo” Romanosky, age 78, passed away at his home on Friday, May 26, 2023. He graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Criminal Justice, and from Wayne State University with a degree in Law. Tom worked for the State of Michigan for 31 years as an Administrative Law Judge prior to his retirement in 1996. On July 11, 1987, he married the former Judith N. Droog in Cerritos, California. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, biking, playing softball, and was an avid reader. He cherished his family and many friendships. He was incredibly kind and loved helping a friend or family member in need. He will be remembered as a man with a fun-loving and social personality. Tom wasn’t afraid to pull out one of his bull whips at a party and demonstrate to his friends how he perfected the art. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judith; son, Andrew (Kim) Romanosky; grandchildren, Emmi, Noah, and Jacob; brothers, William (Marcia) Romanosky II and James (Juanita) Romanosky; and his special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, June 12, 2023 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. VISITATION will be one hour prior to his service. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE OPEN HOUSE will be held from 5:30 - 8:00 on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the Don Rea VFW Post #8846 (1061 Witham Dr., Muskegon, MI 49445).
