Mr. Thomas Edward Sander's Obituary
Mr. Thomas E. Sander, age 73, passed away Wednesday morning, September 20, 2017 at a local hospital. Tom was born November 21, 1943 in Muskegon to Melvin and Geraldine (Stolt) Sander. He graduated from Muskegon High School and then served his country in the Army National Guard. Tom was employed by Arconic for the past 20 years and prior to that, worked with AmStore. He enjoyed fishing and golfing in his earlier years, and loved doing puzzles and spending time with his family. He is survived by his brothers, Pete (Lou) Sander of San Francisco, CA and Mark Sander of Muskegon; sister-in-law, Sandra Sander of Muskegon; nieces and nephews, Kelli Kuipers, Dave Sander, Erin Kuhn, Eric Sander and their families. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Sander; and a cousin, Jeff Sander. In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Pound Buddies Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, 1300 E Keating Ave., Muskegon 49442.
