Thomas Arthur Vivian's Obituary
Thomas Arthur Vivian, age 88, of West Olive passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. He was born January 19, 1931, in Detroit to Frederick Gladwin and Ida (Secor) Vivian, and married Beverly Oldani on October 20, 1956 in Detroit.
Tom served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He owned and operated Harborwear Clothing in Grand Haven, and was a member of the Charles A. Conklin American Legion Post # 28. Tom loved watching all the Detroit teams in professional sports, listening to music, working around the house, playing fantasy football, and most of all spending time with his family.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Beverly Vivian of West Olive; two daughters, Julie Hilliard of Mt. Pleasant, MI, and Kim Vivian of Douglas, MI; two sons, Kevin (Susan) Vivian of Plano TX, and Brian Vivian of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren: Katie Hilliard, Billy Hilliard, Michael Vivian, Erin Vivian, and Kelly Vivian. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Richard Vivian.
