Thomas A. Killian's Obituary
Thomas Killian, age 64 of West Olive, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009 after a long illness . He was born on February 5, 1944 in Chicago to Charles Robert and Clara (Pranger) Killian and married the former Monica Ann Eilers on January 30, 1965 in Muskegon Heights.
Tom had worked at Bastian-Blessing for 23 years and later at Sintel in Spring Lake. He enjoyed his garden, woodworking and restoring and using his 1948 Ford tractor.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Monica; a son, Ron (Michelle) Killian of Mountian Home, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Kaylee, Brittany, Christian; several brother and sister-in-laws; several nieces and nephews including Patrick Killian and Lori Forman. He was preceded in death by a brother Charles, nephew David and favorite cousin Len Blease.
The service to celebrate Tom’s life will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at VanZantwick, Bartels, Kammeraad Chapel in Grand Haven with Rev. Leonard Sudlik officiating. Friends may meet the family on Tuesday, January 27 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Grand Haven funeral home. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.
