Mr. Thomas Erwin Hagen, age 57, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2006. Tom was born March 15, 1949 to Howard and Henrietta (Baker) Hagen in Muskegon and was a life resident of the area. He was a mechanical engineer and had previously been employed at Howmet, Donnelly and Guidon. Tom had served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era and attended First Evangelical Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS include his children, Jeffrey Scott and Jillian Nicole Hagen and by their mother, Janice Terrien all of Whitehall; 2 step-children, Jennifer (Christopher) Yeager and Jonathan O’Brien; 1 brother, Charles (Joann) Hagen of Muskegon; several aunts and uncles among whom is his special aunt, Fannie Baker; his niece, Katy Beth (Michael) Smith; and nephew, Shane Bryan (Angela) Hagen and 3 great nieces and nephews, Logan & Loryn Smith and Kadance Hagen. Mr. Hagen was preceded in death by his parents. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 15 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1206 Whitehall Rd. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION will be Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 at
Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231-726-5210)and one hour prior to the service at the church. For a more lasting memorial you are asked to consider the Poppen Residence of Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana.
