Thomas E. Majeski's Obituary
Mr. Thomas E. Majeski, age 62, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at his home. He was born November 11, 1946 to William and Florence (Kulesza) Majeski and resided in Muskegon his entire life. Tom was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during Vietnam. He worked as an accountant for International Aid, and previously worked at Eagle Ottawa, Grand Haven Stamp, Clarke Floor Machine and Hardware Distributors. Tom was a member of Calvary Church where he was involved with the Finance Committee and AWANA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, drag racing and bowling with the Sherman Commercial League where he was the secretary for 35 years. On April 11, 1970 he married the former Judy Beekman, and she survives him along with 4 children, Thomas (Teresa) Majeski of Cedar Springs, David (Amy) Majeski of Kentwood, Todd Majeski of Kentwood and Troy Majeski of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Justin, Brent, and Sierra Majeski with a fourth grandchild due in May; brother, Charles Majeski of Muskegon; and mother-in-law, Betty Beekman of Grand Rapids. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, and infant sister, Kathy. SERVICES will be 11 AM Saturday at Calvary Church with Pastor Bill Rudd officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-9PM Friday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 and 1 hour prior to the service at church, from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place at Fruitport Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to the Calvary Church Memorial Fund will be appreciated.
