Thomas E. Wisneski's Obituary
Mr. Thomas E. Wisneski, age 86, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Muskegon. He was born December 21, 1924 in Muskegon to Vincent and Josephine (Sturmoski) Wisneski, and resided in the area all of his life. Tom was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines, having served in World War II. He worked for the City of Muskegon for 38 years as an electrician before retiring in 1986. Tom was a member of C3 Exchange, and enjoyed golfing, studying A Course in Miracles, but most of all spending time with his family. On June 14, 1952 he married the former Wynne Allard, and she preceded him in death on October 8, 2009. SURVIVORS include 6 children, Ann Marie McMillen and James (Phyllis) Wisneski both of Muskegon, Gail (Jack) Troutman of Greenbackville, VA, Steven Wisneski, Kathryn Wisneski and Carol Wisneski all of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 1 sister, Katherine Wisneski of Muskegon; and special cousin, Mary Jane Bard. Tom was also preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Greg, Frank, and Charlie; and sister, Mary. The MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 2PM Saturday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 1-2PM. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in Tom’s name may be made to Harbor Hospice.
