Thomas G. Epplett's Obituary
Thomas Gene Epplett, age 43, of Spring Lake passed away at his home on Monday, January 2, 2006. He was born March 2, 1962 to Thomas E. and Deanna L. (Darbee) Epplett in Grand Haven. Tom was a graduate of Grand Haven High School and had attended the ITT Tech Center. He had been employed by Grand River Polishing Company. Tom’s interests included aquariums, chess, working on cars and electronics. He is survived by his father, Tom and Mary Epplett of Spring Lake and mother, Deanna (Asa) Eastling of Zephyrhills, Fla.; grandmother, Aneta Houts of Grand Haven; four sisters, Wendy (Brian) Green and Dee Dee Dykehouse both of Spring Lake, Rebecca (John) Chicklon of Comstock Park, Roberta (Kirk) Edwards of Grand Haven; five brothers, Joel (Kathy) Epplett of Spring Lake, Jason Epplett of Fruitport, Kenny Epplett of Spring Lake, Tim Epplett of Fruitport, Christopher Epplett of Spring Lake; six nieces and nephews, Bobby, Jeanette, Kolton, Keaven, Taylor and Callista. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Grand Haven with Rev. Thomas Cook officiating. Friends may meet the family at church following the service. Memorials to Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana or Heartside Clinic at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids are appreciated.
