Thomas Gregory Liskey's Obituary
Mr. Thomas Gregory Liskey, age 69, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010, at his home. Mr. Liskey was born October 14, 1940 to Gregory and Cecilia (Jaunese) Liskey in Detroit. Tom was employed at Consumers Power for 16 years until his retirement in 1992. Earlier in his life, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. On September 6, 1960 he married the former Pauline Douglas in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 children, Charlotte (Kim) Gustafson of Fruitport and Greg (Pam) Liskey of Montague; his mother, Cecilia Meyer; 2 brothers, Robert (Cherie) Liskey of N. Muskegon and Greg (Mary) Liskey of Muskegon; sister, Marie Daughtry of Muskegon and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his father. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 30, 2010 at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231 726-5210 with Rev. Fr. Michael Olson presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Twin Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
