Thomas J. Danielski's Obituary
Mr. Thomas J. Danielski, age 70, passed away Sunday morning, February 15, 2004 at his home. He was born March 4, 1933 in Grand Rapids to Chester and Rose (Kosarski) Danielski, and lived in Grand Rapids and Fremont for many years before recently moving to the Muskegon area. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 40 years, retiring as the Postmaster of the Fremont Post Office, and later worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart. On February 10, 1973 he married the former Mary “Jackie” Barnes. SURVIVORS include his wife Jackie of Muskegon; children, Cathy (Gary) VanderMeulen of Belmont, Cris Siembor of Lakeland, FL, Jim (Mary) Danielski of Grand Rapids, Shelly (Mike) Ball of Marne, Jackie “Jay” Dowdy of Muskegon, Laura (Bob) DeRosia of Elm Hall, MI, Victoria Miles of Naples, FL, Cheryl King of Naples, FL, Mary (Frank Silardi) VerDuin of Fremont; 12 grandchildren, John, Hilarry, Jason, Joseph, Joshua, Anna, Marla, Jerrett, Jonathon, Joel, Angela, and Boden; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Raymond Danielski of Erie, PA, Bernard (Louise) Danielski of Rockford, Roger (Jean) Danielski of Grand Rapids; 1 sister, Marcia (Patrick) Hillary of Texas; several nieces and nephews. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Thursday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565.
