Thomas M. McKenna's Obituary
Mr. Thomas M. McKenna, age 80, of Muskegon, passed away Monday at his home. He was born September 2, 1931 in Bloomer Township, Michigan to Fred and Mary (McGraw) McKenna and they preceded him in death. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Carson City, Michigan and Ferris State University. Tom had been an auditor for the State of Michigan for over thirty years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Carson City chapter for over 61 years, the Hubbardston Irish Historical Society, and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Tom is survived by: his sister, Dorothy M. Fox of Norton Shores; sister-in-law, Agnes (Robert) McKenna; several nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Donald (Louise) McKenna and Robert McKenna. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11AM Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Philip P. Salmonowicz presiding. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8PM Wednesday (tonight) at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with the Rosary being prayed at 7:30PM. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
