Thomas Martaine Williams' Obituary
Mr. Thomas M. Williams, age 69, passed away Monday morning, December 13, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born October 17, 1941 in Kalamazoo to Robert and Marquerite (Roeland) Williams and was a Muskegon resident since he was a small child. Tom Served his Country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had been a tool and die maker for many years, working at Muskegon Piston Ring for 15 of those years, and retiring 12 years ago. On July 15, 1982, Tom married the former Charlene Berghuis and she survives him. Tom was a member of Sheridan Road Church of Christ. He is also survived by his daughter, Tracie (Kurt) Wolffis of Muskegon; his mother, Marquerite King; a brother, Rodney Williams of California; a sister, Jackolyn VanBrocklin of Jenison, MI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step father, Theron “Jack” King. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Monday, January 3, 2011 at Sheridan Road Church of Christ (4521 S. Sheridan) with his pastor, Robert M. Hodgman officiating. Full Military Rites under the auspices of VFW Muskegon County Council. Interment at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
