Tim Lloyd Harjer's Obituary
Tim Lloyd Harjer, age 66, passed away peacefully Monday, November 24, 2025 at his home. He was born February 2, 1959 in Santa Ana, CA to Harold and Doris (Stickney) Harjer. He graduated from Orchard View High School Class of 1977. Tim worked over 40 years as the Main Polisher for the Mills Family of companies - Mills Manufacturing and Port City Architectural Signage & Signature Streetscapes, and was one month from retirement. Tim enjoyed bowling and golfing with his father-in-law, Grandpa Sam. He was an excellent left-fielder and played on softball teams sponsored by Bay Cartidge, Jeff’s Tire Barn, and Kohley’s EcoWater, and formed a very special bond with his softball family over the years. He also participated in weekend co-ed tournaments earning many awards and trophies. Tim cherished his pets in life - dogs Bo and Bailey, and cat Smalls. Survivors include his daughter, Autumn (Jeff) Kwolek; 2 grandsons, Wesley and Leo Kwolek; his former spouse, Paula Harjer; 2 sisters, Debra (Bill) McGaffin, Carol (Kevin) Riffle; 2 nephews, Joe (Miriam) McGaffin, Erik (Katie) Riffle; 1 niece, Nicole (Josh) Brandel; 4 great nieces and nephews; 1 sister-in-law, Maria Harjer; good friend and colleague, Leo Hernandez; and his Mills Work Family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Fred Harjer; and 1 nephew, Chad Harjer. A Celebration of Life will be held 2-4PM Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Ross Park Outlook Deck, 82 Randall Road, Norton Shores, MI 49441.
