I can't begin to go through all the memories I have had with Snap. From racing in Iowa to Wisconsin to our home tracks of Moreland's Motocross and Baja Acres. Traveling in my van all over the country. He was a great companion. Tim taught me many of the little things around making my motocross bike the best one on the track. I was very fortunate to have a pretty successful 11 years in Motocross. I could not have done it without Tim. He was always there to help me fix the bike when it broke. Like in Iowa when I broke 2nd gear 3 out of 4 motos.... I ended up winning that regional event thanks to all of Tim's efforts to fix the bike between motos. It was a thrash! Tim never shied away from diving in and getting it done! Often he would not race his own motos just to make sure my bike was ready. Although I kept telling him I was all set! I think he took a lot of pride in my success and please know Tim, that a ton of the credit goes to you!!! He also pushed me on the training side from filling my tank back up during practice when I thought I was done for the night to handing me my running shoes after we finished so I could run home....sometimes a long way. SO much to tell, but I will leave it here. Thanks for everything TIm!!! Godspeed!!!
Tim"Snapper" was an amazing mechanic to many of the racers around Michigan. He was alway willing to give a helping hand and turn a wrench. Most of all he made things go fast. And it made him happy. Their wasn't a bike he couldn't tune or a sled he couldn't tweak. He'll be missed in the D14 but not forgotten. Thank you for all your help over the years Snapper. Always helpful and friendly, to all.........He will be missed by a huge number of people. He might have passed on to a better place, but he will never be forgotten in the motocross family.
