Timothy Elwin "Tim" Garvey's Obituary
Timothy Elwin Garvey, age 75, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 in Muskegon. He was born February 22, 1946 in Muskegon to Floyd and Laura (Puckett) Garvey and was a lifelong resident. Tim worked as a laborer for Kandu Industries for 10 years. He later worked at a bus driver for HealthWest for 5 years. Tim was a very talented artist and created hand-drawn artwork. He was a great father and grandfather who could really tell a good story. Tim lived a very simple life and enjoyed fishing, playing poker and bingo. Survivors include 3 children, Timothy J. (Elizabeth) Garvey, Kimberly (Steven) Cucciniello, Jason (Rachel) Garvey; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Warren (Cindy) Garvey; 1 sister-in-law, Theresa Garvey; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Ben Garvey and 1 sister, Vicky Debrie. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, August 1, 2021 at the home of Jason and Rachel Garvey, 11878 Cheyenne Trail, Grand Haven, MI 49456.
