Timothy S. "T.J." Johnson's Obituary
Timothy S. “T.J.” Johnson, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was born July 18, 1964, in Zeeland, MI to Timothy A. and Linda (LaMadline) Johnson. T.J. graduated from Fruitport High School in 1983. T.J. was preceded in death by his father, Timothy A. Johnson. He is survived by his mother, Linda L. Johnson; daughter, Niclole (Matthew) Johnson-Rowan; son, Brandon Johnson; grandchildren: Alexis Johnson, JozLynn Johnson, Matthew Rowan, Aubrielle Rowan, and Ellie Johnson; sister, Lisa (Rick) Quintero; brother, Michael Johnson; nephews: Justin (Andrea) Morrell and Ryan Quintero; nieces: Sadey and Zoey Morrell, and Alivia Johnson. He is also survived by Danielle Carlson, his partner in life for many years. T.J. had hundreds of lifelong friends who will truly miss his spirit, smile, sense of humor, and love for life. He is the kind of friend a friend would love to have and be. He was generous with his time and compassion; he’d be by your side at a moment's notice when needed without exception. As a proud member of the MMG’s social club of Muskegon, T.J. helped with many of the club's charitable events that helped raise money for many great causes. Being a member of the MMG was one of T.J.’s greatest joys in life…along with fishing, camping, and taking care of family. A celebration of T.J. 's life, to be presided over by Bishop Rick Rogers, will be held Tuesday, September 12th at 3:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
