Timothy P. Linton's Obituary
Mr. Timothy P. Linton, age 64, of Grand Haven and formerly of Norwalk, CT passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born February 10, 1956 in Norwalk, CT to John and Susan (Sanders) Linton. On October 11, 2003 he married Shannon Harmon in Grand Haven.
If you knew Tim, you knew laughter and love. Tim was a generous soul and his greatest joy was his family. Tim loved music (the Beatles), the Pittsburgh Steelers, and traveling. While his children were growing, he coached with the Trumbull Pop Warner Football, Trumbull Little League, and Babe Ruth baseball. He volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician in Trumbull, CT for over a decade. He was a member of the Eagles 925 and a Sons of the American Legion, Post 28.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years Shannon; his children: Paul (Megan) Linton of Rochester, NY, Maria Linton of Norwalk, CT, and Jake Linton of Grand Haven, MI; granddaughter, Brynn and another on the way; siblings: Suzanne (Ralph) Nuzzo, Donna (Griffin) Kessler, and Jim (Michelle) Linton; in-laws, Gayle Harmon, Robert (Rebecca Schramm) Harmon; sisters-in-law, Kristi (Chad) Kelecava, and Courtney (Aaron) Sherwood; nieces, nephews, and former wife, Frances (Buono) Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Susan; brothers: John and Wayne “Skip” Linton.

A visitation will be held 1:00-3:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417. COVID 19 restrictions and masks will be required. A celebration of life will be held later next year in Norwalk for his family and friends back home. Memorial contributions in memory of Tim can be sent to the SportHouse Athletic Center (1350 Judson Rd, Spring Lake, MI 49456.
