Tina E. Lomeo's Obituary
Mrs. Tina Elaine Lomeo passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at her home. She was born on August 2, 1934 to Joseph and Elizabeth (George) in Glassport, PA. Tina married the love of her life, James E. Lomeo on July 27, 1955 and the two were inseparable until his passing in 2014. Jim and Tina raised their family in the Pittsburgh area while also exploring many different entrepreneurial avenues. The two ran several businesses before settling on land development and started their own Alleghany Mortgage Company. Tina enjoyed her work as a mortgage broker for many years before retirement. Tina enjoyed spending a couple months each winter in Florida with Jim and working in her flower garden in Spring Lake in the summers. She loved her family fiercely and loved the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tina will be dearly missed by her children, Rosalia (Edward) Katz, Paul Lomeo, and Joe Lomeo (Patty); daughter-in-law, Sandy Lomeo; grandchildren, Michael (Hannah) Katz, David Katz, Daniel Katz, J.T. Lomeo, Karen (Steve) Kekelik, Jimmy (Alex) Lomeo, Katie Lomeo, Danny Lomeo, Matt Lomeo, and Bella Lomeo; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Savannah, Kora, Mark, and Emilia; brother, Anthony (Louise) Orlando; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Jim, Tina was also preceded in death by her son, Mark Lomeo; parents, Joseph and Elizabeth; and siblings, Salvatore Orlando, Joe Orlando, and Maria Hanley.
