Todd A. Broton's Obituary
Todd Broton, age 63 of Ravenna, passed away
at home peacefully after a long and courageous
battle with cancer. Todd was born on September 21,
1962 to Tony and Karen Broton, and attended
Ravenna schools. Todd lived for his children and
grandchildren. You could find him cheering his
grandkids on in DI, softball, baseball, football, and basketball games. Todd loved talking to people and sharing his opinion freely with anyone who would listen. He enjoyed dirt track races and high school sports. Todd was a lifelong
member of the Ravenna community. He loved
this town so much that he thought it was his own, and it was.
Todd was an amazing father, grandfather (Peepaw), brother,
uncle, nephew, and friend. Todd loved the outdoors and enjoyed
going shining, hunting deer, rabbits, and turkeys. He leaves
behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. While the stands at
the local youth football and youth softball games will be a bit
quieter he will forever be remembered for the love he had for
his town and his community.
Todd leaves behind his children, whom he loved more than
anything, Heather (Andrew) Nester, Holly (Larry) Hogan, and
Anthony Broton; siblings Scott (Monica) Broton, Kim Broton,
Kathy (Bill) Stein; many nieces and nephews who were very
special to him; grandchildren, Layna and Wade Hogan, Braxton
and Georgia Nester and Opal Holtrop-Broton. He was preceded
in death by his father Tony Broton and mother Karen Broton.
