Tori L. Houghtaling's Obituary
Ms. Tori L. Houghtaling, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 27, 2017. She was born on January 8, 1992 to Scott and Ruth (Maner) Houghtaling in Muskegon. A lifelong resident in the area, Tori graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School in 2010 before moving to Grand Haven. Tori was a strong young woman who had a perfect laugh and a great sense of humor. She was a very caring and loving person. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, as well as camping, and attended services at Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene. Tori will be lovingly remembered by her son, Tyler Bell; parents, Scott and Ruth; sisters, Jessica Holmes and Ann Houghtaling; grandparents, Mary Maner and George & Marne Houghtaling; one niece and three nephews; many aunts and uncles; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Gertrude Schwemer. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 2 at 11AM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
