Trena Vos' Obituary
Trena Vos, age 97, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was born April 29, 1924 in Muskegon to John and Alberdina (Hoffman) Medema. On August 17, 1956, she married Roger L. Vos in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on September 23, 2018. Trena worked for Muskegon Monument and Stone for 6 years and was a member of Laketon Bethel Church. She enjoyed playing on the computer and bowling, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. SURVIVORS include her children: Fred G. (Tina) Vos of Jackson, MI, James R. Vos of Laketon Twp., Janet S. (Randy) Varney of Whitehall, and Gerald L. (Susan) Vos of Laketon Twp.; 8 grandchildren: Andrew (Amanda) Vos, Michael James, Sarah Varney, Brett Varney, Bethany Vos, Amy Vos, Ashley Vos, and Noah Vos; 1 great-grandson, Cameron Vos; and a host of nieces and nephews and their families. Trena was also preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, and 5 brothers. SERVICES for Trena will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Laketon Bethel Church (1568 W. Giles Rd.) with the Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. INTERMENT will take place in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. MEMORIALS to the Harbor Hospice Foundation or the Arthritis Foundation will be appreciated.
