Trent Mitchell McCoy's Obituary
Trent Mitchell McCoy was born on May 27th, 1976 (Bi-Centennial year) to the proud parents of Gale "Mac" and Marilyn McCoy. He was also welcomed into this world by his big sister, Marla (McCoy) Rose. He has two devoted children that he loved with all his heart, Kobe McCoy and Aveanna McCoy. There are many additional family members and friends that he also held close to his heart. The list is many. Trent graduated from Montague High School in 1995. He was a drummer in the Montague HS band. He was a member of the Stanton Street Singer’s and won first place in Showcase. Trent was blessed with a God-given talent in acting. He was involved in various kinds of theater and was a natural born star. After graduation he received a full scholarship to The Professional Theater Program at the University of Wisconsin (Madison) and received his Bachelor’s of Art. Trent always had a love and passion for music. It was in his soul. He started his own DJ business called Soundsational DJ’s. He was very talented in mixing and creating music and sounds, with Techno being his favorite. Everyone loved Trent and was drawn to his big personality, generous sense of humor, engaging smile, and contagious laugh. Recently he mostly enjoyed spending time with his children and was a big push over when it came to his kids. We will dearly miss him and know that he has found peace with God our Lord. A Celebration of Trent's Life will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Ferry Memorial Reformed Church (8637 Old Channel Trail, Montague, MI 49437).
