Trudy P. Schuler's Obituary
New Era, MI – Trudy P. Schuler, age 69 of New Era, was called home to be with our Lord in Heaven Monday morning, May 26, 2014. She passed away peacefully in her New Era home after a long battle with cancer.
Trudy was born December 31, 1944 to Fred and Elaine (Dashner) Waugh in Petoskey, Michigan, and graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1962.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Jeff Schuler; son, Daniel Schuler, daughter-in-law, Peggy Schuler; grandson, Tristan Schuler; daughter, Shelley Schuler; niece/daughter, Amy Dobyns, Steve Dobyns; and granddaughters, Rachel and Anna Dobyns. Trudy is also survived by her sisters, Donna (Dan) Visger and Pamela Waugh; along with sister-in-law, Jill (TJ) Musial.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Pastor Mike Waugh officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Harbor Hospice or a Charity of your Choice.
