Mrs. Valerie Kay Mills' Obituary
Valerie Kay Mills, age 74, was called to Heaven Tuesday morning, May 7, 2019 at the Poppen Residence, surrounded by her family. Valerie was born June 16, 1944 in Muskegon to Earl and Bessie (Genson) Collins. Valerie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her children, Kimberly Kay, Brian Keith, Kristi Lynn, Tracy Richard, Arthur Henry and Thomas William; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; brother, Charles; sister, Sharon; several nieces and nephews; former husband and lifelong friend, Bill Mills; and special friend, Lyle Stone. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Gary and Terry. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be 7 PM Tuesday, May 14, at Twin Lake United Methodist Church, 4940 Main St., Twin Lake, with Pastor Bill Dye officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (6-7 PM). MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Harbor Hospice Foundation.
