Valerie A. Thaden's Obituary
Valerie A. Thaden, age 92, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 at DaySpring Assisted Living Center. She was born May 26, 1927 in Iron, MI to John C. and Susi (Kawalauskas) Milosh and lived most of her life in Chicago and Muskegon. She worked as an accountant for Brunswick Corp in Muskegon and Chicago and retired in 1982. In her younger years, Valerie swam almost daily and enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was divorced from James Thaden who preceded her in death. She leaves her son, Ronald M. Stone, 3 grandsons; Ron, Jeffrey (Annette) and Michael, several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, John (Marcella) Milosh, Mero (Reta) Milosh, and 3 sisters, Anna (Edward) Zeigler, Bernice (Clyde) Daniels, Elsie (Julius “Tuffy”) Tomorsky. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to longtime friend, Joanie Hornbeck, the staff at Harbor Hospice, and her loving staff/family and friends at DaySpring Assisted Living Center. Visitation for Valerie will be held 3-7 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W Sherman Blvd, Muskegon, MI 49441.
