My deepest sympathy to Cathy, Tudor, Aaron and other members of Vaughn´s great family, which he loved above anything else.
Vaughn will be missing to all of us. Not only as a person, but also as one of the biggest experts on the steel foundry business in the world. Steel castings were his passion, he could see the casting process in its entire complexity but understood every single detail and it was always inspiring to work with him on common projects.
Rest in Peace, Vaughn.

Dear Cathy, please accept our condolences and sympathies to you and your family in this time of sadness. Vaughn and I had known each other since we were college freshmen. We immediately became friends and both pledged the same fraternity, rooming together. We shared many good times, some ups and downs; but had a strong respectful friendship. I remember Vaughn's drive and passion for life and for work, his zeal in developing our company and furthering and expanding the impact and focus. I remember his outgoing personality and wonderful sense of humor. Vaughn loved his family deeply, his children and grandchildren and was always willing to talk about them and their accomplishments. I thank him for the opportunities that we had. We reconnected at Omnicast for 12 years. Those times were not always easy, but provided great satisfaction and enjoyment and expanded our boundaries and views on life and work. Please be at peace. It is a difficult time, but you have a very wonderful and strong family. Again, our deepest sympathies.
