Velma E. Vokits' Obituary
Miss Velma E. Vokits, age 98, passed away Sunday evening, October 2, 2016. She was born June 16, 1918 in Muskegon Heights to Steve and Mary (Stefanits) Vokits and has been a life member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and it’s Legion of Mary Auxiliary. Velma had been an inspector at Sealed Power for 38 years, prior to her retirement in 1975. SURVIVORS include 1 brother, William (Mary Lou) Vokits, and many nieces and nephews. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Antony Britto presiding. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
