Vera "Doris" Nicholson's Obituary
Mrs. Doris Nicholson, age 72, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in Muskegon. She was born March 23, 1931 to Rush and Fay (Smith) Collins in White Cloud. In 1946 she moved to the Muskegon area, where she resided the rest of her life. Mrs. Nicholson enjoyed bowling and was a member of many different bowling leagues. She also loved spending time with her family. On May 14, 1960, in Muskegon, she married John L. Nicholson and he survives her along with one brother, Robert (Beveny) Collins; one sister, Nora DeLong, both of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Floyd, Wymer, and William Collins; and 1 sister, Vola Penland. A private memorial service will be held.
