Verna Jean Krbez's Obituary
Mrs. Verna Jean Krbez, age 79, passed away Friday morning, June 18 in Muskegon. She was born July 29, 1930 to Edward and Eva (Stedman) Hall, Sr. in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Verna Jean worked for the Fruitport Schools for 28 years before retiring. She was a very giving, hospitable person, always willing to help others. She loved gardening, and shared her knowledge and love of nature and God with her children and grandchildren. She married Walter Krbez, Sr. on March 5, 1949, and he survives her along with 4 children: Walter (Denise) Krbez, Jr. of Norton Shores, Margaret (Gary) Butts of Ada, Edward Krbez of Muskegon, James (Tammy) Krbez of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Donald (Judy) Hegedus of N. Muskegon, Thomas (Norma) Hall of Muskegon; 1 sister, Judy Farkas ; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, John Hegedus, Jr., and Edward Hall, Jr.; and her great-grandson, Benjamin Krbez. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 26, at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday evening.
