Verneada L. "Neada" Walton's Obituary
Verneada L. “Neada” Walton, age 65, passed away on August 5, 2025, in Dallas, TX. She was born on May 28, 1960, to Willie and Vera (Aubrey) Walton in Chicago, IL. Neada was a very fun, loving, and social person. She attended Day Springs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. While there, she participated in exercise, watched movies, did arts and crafts, and ate lunch and snacks with her peers. She awakened every day ready to go. Neada also participated in the Special Olympics for many years while attending Wesley School, where she later graduated. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to blues and watching Sanford and Son. Neada leaves behind her siblings, Willie Walton Jr., Teresa Walton, Anita (Al) Buckner, Verneasa Wheeler, Jaquantae Wheeler, and special niece, Sherrell Washington along with many other family members and friends. Neada was preceded in death by her father, Willie; mother, Vera; stepfather, Archie Wheeler; and brother, Gregory Aubrey. VISITATION will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI. Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30 PM the same day at Mona View Cemetery, 3335 Mona View Dr., Muskegon, MI. Memorials in Neada’s name can be directed to DayBreak Adult Day Services.
