It was with pride that I was able to share a table with Vernice for 7 years at the Muskegon Conservation Club, she as Financial Secretary and myself as Treasurer. She was a strong woman of character, honor and dedication.
I never got a chance to meet her husband but Vernice shared many stories of her and Harold and their history at the Club. I know that she missed him and loved him dearly.
She gave many hours, which quickly added up to years, of service and participation to the Conservation Club.
Vernice will be missed by many, remembered by so many more and her legacy will live on.
