I can not share a memory as I have never met Vernon, I however had heard a lot about him growing up. Vernon was my dad's uncle. I am just now searching family history and coming across new information and wanted to share my condolences to his family
Treat today as a new beginning and do something out of the ordinary, first try acting like a Christian....then pass it on!
I have only good memories of Vern and the times we spent at Gun Lake with the families, playing cards, having a drink, swimming, watching the kids fish and swim. Luci and I give our sincere sympathies during this time of mourning and hope that healing comes quickly.

So sorry to read about your fathers passing. It is so sad to lose a parent. My father passed away 16 years ago and so many things I see and hear remind me of him.
