Mr. Vernon "Jim" Pastor's Obituary
Mr. Vernon J. “Jim” Pastor, 75, passed away Saturday evening, November 22, in Muskegon. Jim was born August 29, 1939 to James J. and Sylvia L. (Shafer) Pastor in Muskegon, and was a life resident. He had worked at Goodwill. On April 26, 1975 Jim married Carol J. Good, and she preceded him in death on March 6, 2005. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Duane E. Pastor; 4 sisters, Norma L. (Buster) Coleman, Jean (Paul) Powell, Sharon Sanders, and Gail Pastor; a special niece, Debra Parks. Jim was also preceded in death by his parents, and a brother-in-law, William Sanders. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 29, at the Family Bible Church, 1256 W. Broadway, with Pastor Jerry DePoy officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
