Vernon Stanley Ransom's Obituary
Vernon Stanley Ransom age 84, of Ravenna, MI. died Wednesday, December 18, 2019 peacefully at home.
Vernon was born on December 13, 1935 to the late Stanley T. and Evelyn M. (Mitchell) Ransom. He married Joann Iris (Evans) Ransom on November 28, 1953 in Muskegon, MI.
Vernon is survived by his wife of 66 years: Joann I. Ransom of Ravenna, 2 Sons: Dale (Vicki) Ransom and Mark (Lenett) Ransom both of Ravenna. 4 Daughters: Cindy Ransom of Muskegon, Verna (Rick) Graves, Tina (Dennis) Carlson of Ravenna and Cheryl (Norman) Vanderlaan all of Ravenna. 18 Grandchildren and Numerous Great and Great Great Grandchildren. 2 Brothers: Larry (Cherry) Ransom of Ravenna and Alvin (Lynn) Ransom of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Brothers: Bernard and Wayne Ransom.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:00am with Pastor Don VanSlyke officiating. The family will be at the funeral home from 10:00am until time of service.
