I am one of the daughters of Vern's neighbor, Robert Lakanen. I will cherish the memory of Vern. I have two paintings from him that I enjoy on a daily basis. He was a talented natural artist who is now enjoying the company of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.
