Vicki G. Houseman's Obituary
Vicki G. Houseman, age 68, passed away on May 22, 2019 at a local nursing home. She was born on June 8, 1950 to Edward and Elaine (Fox) Peake in Muskegon. Vicki loved many things in life like spending time with her husband, family and friends. She also loved shopping, art fairs and NASCAR. She enjoyed ice cream and drives by Lake Michigan with her husband, John. She loved being "Aunt Vicki” to hundreds of kids over the years at her home daycare. On November 10, 1984 she married John Houseman and he survives her along with her 2 sons; Jason (Morgan) Burns, Scott (April) Burns and daughter, Tammy Amos; 4 grandchildren, Zac, Madison, Ethan and Brady; sister, Shelley (Larry) Tejchma; brothers, Scott (Terry) Barton, Mike (Mary) Peake, Greg Peake and several nieces and nephews. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Elaine. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be held 2 hours prior to the service from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. MEMORIALS can be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
