Viginia M. Shaffer's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia M. Shaffer, age 89, passed away January 8, 2008 at her home. She was born February 24, 1918 to Earl and Mary (Valley) Pearo in Muskegon. On December 21, 1935 she married William Shaffer in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on November 24, 1976. SURVIVORS include 3 daughters, Bethlynn Cantrall, Toni (Bernie) Stiller and Marcia Shatney, all of Muskegon; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Barbara Wright, Dorothy Martin, Janet Wallace and special friend, Steve. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 1 son, Edmund Shaffer, 1 sister, Betty Ainsworth and 3 brothers, Tony, Earl and Marshall Pearo. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 11 AM Monday at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Rev. Fr. Norman Droski officiating. Memorials to Three Rivers Hospice (2335 N. Belt Hwy.,St. Joseph, MO 65406) would be appreciated.
