Vincent Patrick Spencer's Obituary
Mr. Vincent Patrick Spencer, age 46, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010, in Kalamazoo County. Vince was born in Muskegon on November 27, 1963. He was a 1982 graduate of Muskegon High School and an avid Big Red fan. Vince proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. On March 25, 1988 he married the former Michelle Irene TerBorg in Muskegon and she survives him. Vince had recently been employed by NTB trucking, and prior to that had been employed by Sappi Fine Paper for 21 ½ years. He loved football, fishing with his sons and brothers and yearly trips to the Silverdome to watch the high school playoff games. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Vince attended Fellowship Reformed Church. In addition to Michelle, his wife of 22 years, Vince is survived by his 3 children, Jessica Spencer at home, ABHAN Jason Spencer, stationed aboard the U.S.S. John C. Stennis, and ABEAN Justin Spencer, stationed aboard the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan; mother and father in-law, Claire and Clarence TerBorg of Muskegon; 4 brothers, Brian (Jamie) Spencer of Whitehall, Bradley (Cathleen) Spencer of Muskegon, Mark Spencer and Scott (Gaeya) Spencer, all of Lakewood Club; a sister-in-law, Cynthia TerBorg of Muskegon; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Vincent was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Spencer and grandmother, Olive Ross. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Monday, September 27, 2010 at Fellowship Reformed Church (4200 Apple Ave.) with Pastor Greg VanderMeer officiating. VISITATION will be Sunday from 2-5 PM at
