Viola A. Klug's Obituary
Mrs. Viola A. Klug, age 97, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Muskegon. She was born on March 22, 1916 in Illmo, Missouri to George and Lizzie (Eifert) Roth, and resided in the area since 1930. Mrs. Klug was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the Circle Guild and Dorcus Circle. On August 27, 1939, she married Albert Klug and he preceded her in death on May 29, 1988. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Charles (Carolyn) Klug and Raymond (Darlene) Klug both of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Laurie Toney, Bradley (Dawn) Klug, Mindy (Matt) VanderJagt, and Amy (Barry) Baas; 6 great grandchildren, Charles Klug, Nicholas Toney, Skylar VanderJagt, Reagan VanderJagt, Jordan Thomas, and Teresa Thomas; along with several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Klug was also preceded in death by her sisters, Paula Workman and Iona McTaggart, and brother, Lee Roth. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11AM Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church (3225 Roosevelt Rd.) with Rev. Mark Zimmerman officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11AM. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery.
