Viola M. Olmstead's Obituary
Viola Mary (Ochs) Olmstead, age 77, passed away peacefully with family at her side on October 27, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Richard (Dick) Don Olmstead, her daughter, Donna Pleasants, and her parents, Arnold and Helen Ochs. She will be deeply missed by her children, Vicki Stein, Valerie Savina, Diane (Chris) Marklevitz, Richard (Rhonda) Olmstead, Robert (Michelle) Olmstead, and Jennifer (Eric) Ranieri; her beloved grandchildren, Audrey Stein; Andrew, Mike and Jeff (Emily) Savina; Sydney, Matthew, Jadon and Alexis Olmstead; Maxwell and Marcus Olmstead; and Adam Ranieri; great grandchildren, Lyla Bella Serri-Savina and Oloren Savina; her brothers and sister, Arnold (Aggie) Ochs; Norman (Jackie) Ochs; Jerome Ochs; Sally (Jeff) Leinicke; brother-in-law, Charles (Nila) Olmstead; and many more family members and friends. Vi worked for 20+ years at Irwin Seating Company as a Project Administrator. She was well loved by family and friends, and accomplished in her career. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, October 31, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444, 231-798-1100 with Rev. Fr. Philip Shangraw presiding. VISITATION with with the family will be 5-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Harbor Hospice.
