Viola B. Roomsburg's Obituary
Mrs. Viola Berniece Roomsburg, age 69, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 5, 2011, at her home. She was born November 19, 1941 in Newberry, MI to John and Olia Morrison; and had resided in the Muskegon area since 1961. Vi was a member Wolf Lake Baptist Church and had enjoyed her time assisting with the elections in Egelston Township. On July 15, 1961, Vi married Gustofe L. Roomsburg and he survives her along with 3 children, Steve (Sheila) Roomsburg and Carolyn Roomsburg of Muskegon and Dale (Lila) Roomsburg of Ravenna; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and by her special friends, Diane and Helen. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held 1PM Friday, July 8, 2011 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231-726-5210)with long-time friend and Pastor, Alvin “Al” Knutson, officiating. Burial will be in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. VISITATION with Vi’s family will be 6-8PM Thursday. For a more lasting memorial you are asked to consider Mercy VNS & Hospice Services.
