On June 21, 1952, she married Charles L. Perro, Jr. in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2019. Together, they loved to snowmobile, ride trail bikes, and go-karts. Violet worked as a purchasing agent for Shaw Box Crane for over 18 years. She loved animals, especially dogs, and would occasionally feed the neighborhood pets. SURVIVORS include her sisters: Sharon (Bob) DeBoer and Betty Hager; and five nieces: Marlene Hager, Jan Potter, Kim Luce, Kelly Gagnon, and Kerri Roberts. Following Violet’s wishes, cremation with a private family service will take place and burial will be held in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
