Violet M. Stuhan's Obituary
Violet May Stuhan, age 86, of Ravenna, passed away on April 28, 2021 after a battle with Covid-19. She was born on May 15, 1934 to Harvey and Stella Sorensen. On October 7, 1950 she married Robert Stuhan. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last year. Together, they had 8 children: Vickie (Ken) Scheel, Carol Stuhan, Darlene Vanderstelt, Randy (Kris) Stuhan, Rose (Sam) Landers, Roger Stuhan, Cindy (Tim) Hall, and Bradley Stuhan. She had 17 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. Violet was a loving and devoted mom and grandma. She was never afraid of hard work and was always there for anyone who needed a hand. She was fun-loving, enjoyed cooking and gardening, and had a special place in her heart for her dog, Susie, who brought her joy for many years. She always made holidays and birthdays special for her family. Violet was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Andrew Sorensen; sister, Julia Maleski; and her son, Bradley. She was able to celebrate in Heaven with Bradley this year on his birthday (April 29). She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her family.
