Ms. Violet Ruth Cook, age 93, passed away Friday morning, October 21, 2011. She was born May 19, 1918 in Muskegon to Lawrence and Florence (Johnson) Willea. SURVIVORS include 6 children, Lawrence (Geneva) Cook, Kay Manie, Jerry (Cathy) Cook, Terry (Sherry) Cook, Kenneth “Mike” (Cheryl) Cook, Gary (Tammy) Cook; former daughter-in-law, Susan (John) Rauen; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Connie and Candy Cook; son, Bob Cook; 2 granddaughters, Sandy and Andi Cook; 2 grandsons, Todd and Gary Cook; 2 sisters; and 4 brothers.
