Virginia M. "Ginny" Cuthrell's Obituary
Virginia M. “Ginny” Cuthrell, age 84, met her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 22, 2021. She was born on August 19, 1937 to Joseph and Genevieve (Gudelinis) Daniels in Brooklyn, NY. She made her way to Michigan in her early 20’s and has called it home ever since. She was a dedicated employee of 18 years working as an administrative secretary at Orchard View high school. On June 14, 1958 she married the love of her life, Eugene Cuthrell in Westbury, NY. Together they cherished 41 years full of love and laughter. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was a faithful servant of Our Lord and was a lifelong member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Ginny loved to volunteer her time and participate in helping out her community. She was part of the Red Hat society and adopt-a-reader program for 10 years. She was also highly active in helping her church and was a friendly face in the community. Above all things, she truly loved spending time with her family. Ginny was a proud mother and an above and beyond loving and supportive grandmother. She loved being present at all of the sporting events and activities her grandchildren took part in. Ginny also took pride in maintaining a pristine home, both inside and out. She was a skilled gardener and had a passion for cooking and decorating. Her tender-loving and kind spirit will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her 3 children, Pamela McIntosh, Vickie (Robert) Lee and Scott (Amy) Cuthrell; 8 grandchildren, Paige, Ian, Miyah, Ethan, Sawyer, Sayge, Sandyn and Saylar; and brother, Joseph (Pat)Daniels. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Kenneth Daniels and Mark Daniels. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1110 Dykstra Rd., N. Muskegon, MI 49445. A visitation with the family will be held from 10-11:00 AM. Memorial Contributions in Ginny’s honor can be made directly to the American Cancer Society.
