Virginia I. King's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia I. King, age 92, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in Muskegon. She was born on February 12, 1921 in Grand Haven to Fred and Pauline (Shriver) Behm, and resided in the Muskegon area for most of her life. She, along with her husband John King, owned and operated Wilbert Burial Vault Company in Muskegon for many years. Mrs. King loved and lived for her family including 2 sons, John (Diane) King, Jr. and William (Elizabeth) King both of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, William King, Jr., Traci (Jim) Mines, Amanda (Jeff) Miles, Nicole King, John (Melissa) King III, Jammie (Jonathan) Hansen; 12 great grandchildren, Nick, Derek, Tyler, Hunter, Noah, Mason, Tyler, Avery, Peyton, Morgen, Drew, and Dillon; and special family, Deb and Joe Gabriel and their children, Joe (Leslie) Gabriel, Jr., Adam (Sara) Gabriel and Matt Gabriel. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1980 and her brother, Paul Behm. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11AM Saturday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Rev. Harvey Hertz officiating. VISITATION with her family will be 5-8 PM Friday. Burial will take place in Restlawn Cemetery.
