Virginia Rose Kuharevicz's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Rose Kuharevicz, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2019 surrounded by her loving family in Spring Lake, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on May 27, 1926 to Anthony and Chiara (Macri) Donato. Virginia graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1944 and spent her entire life in Muskegon. On September 17, 1955, Virginia married Harry L. Kuharevicz. They were married for 51 years prior to his passing on May 26, 2006. She was employed by Railway Express before devoting her life to raising her children. Virginia was a long-time member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and when time allowed, she had a passion for playing BINGO. Virginia will be remembered for her selfless generosity, her unending ability to be a caregiver, her unconditional love for her family and for her generous heart. She will be missed by her four children, Sandy Kuharevicz, Joan (Marty) Fredericksen, Larry (Lezley Lach) Kuharevicz, and John Kuharevicz; eight grandchildren, Tony, Adam, Cameron, Sydney, and Jackson Kuharevicz, Gina (Spencer) Dohrman, Brady (Carly) Fredericksen and Holly Fredericksen; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents, stepmother, Carmela Donato; sister, Josephine Rood; and brother, Arthur Donato. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 5, 2019 at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, Marian Chapel with Rev. Charles D. Hall presiding. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441 with VIGIL PRAYERS at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
