Virginia Miller's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Miller, age 74, passed away Saturday evening, April 23, 2005, at a local nursing home. She was born October 25, 1930 in Remus, MI and resided there until moving to Muskegon 54 years ago. Virginia was a 1948 graduate of Remus Consolidated Schools and a 1951 graduate of Hackley School of Nursing. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was also a member of St. Ceclia Music Society for many years. On April 18, 1953 she married Charles E. Miller (RPh) and he survives her along with 2 children, Linda K. (Dennis J.) Bates of North Muskegon and David Charles Miller of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Adam Charles Miller, Jennifer K. Bates, Julianne C. Bates, Rachelle E. Bates & Charles E. Bates; 1 brother, Truman (Sue) Hinton of Grand Rapids, MI; 1 sister, Laura E. Downs of Franklin Park, IL; 2 sisters-in-law, Shirley (Richard) Hallstrand of Jupiter, FL, Barb Hinton of Sault Ste. Marie, MI and by many nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Truman & Elizabeth (Lenon) Hinton, by her brother, Robert H. Hinton (2002), and 2 brothers–in-law Clayton C. Downs and Robert E. Miller. with Pastor John H. Brown, of the First Baptist Church, officiating. VISITATION will be one-hour prior to the service (Noon until 1PM). MEMORIAL CONTIBUTIONS may be made to the First Baptist Church Youth Fund.
