Virginia "Ginny" Reynolds' Obituary
Mrs. Virginia E. “Ginny” Reynolds, age 94, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, March 10, 2020. She was born September 19, 1925, to Earl and Ila E. (Miller) Goodwin in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Ginny worked at Hosler’s Clothing Store for 42 years before retiring. She had been a lifetime member of the former Lakeside United Methodist Church and the Viking Lodge On July 9, 1948 she married Robert Reynolds, the love of her life, and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2011. She and Bob enjoyed spending many winters in Florida, as well as golfing, entertaining, baking, handwork, church choir, taking photographs, keeping journals and working in her flower garden. She leaves behind Jack Reynolds (brother-in-law); many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
Ginny is additionally preceded in death by her brother Dick (Kay) Goodwin, sister Maurine (Don) Cordes, sister-in-law Betty (Derk) Kleyn, brother-in-law William (Lydia) Reynolds as well as sister-in-law Phyllis Reynolds.
Special gratitude to Phyllis Sullivan, as well as many family and friends who continued over the years to demonstrate their love as generous caregivers, aids, dear friends, and dinner companions to Ginny.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 16, at 2:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, 49444. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Her final resting place will be at Restlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Ginny may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association, Lake Harbor United Methodist Church or Harbor Hospice.
