Virginia Marie Sibley's Obituary
Virginia Marie Sibley, age 83, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on February 25, 1940 to Carl and Gertrude (Newman) Mylenek. Virginia was employed by Mercy Hospital for 35 years prior to her retirement. She was a devout Catholic and loved her faith. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and faithfully prayed the Rosary every day at 3PM. Virginia enjoyed trips to the casino, loved her pets, and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels that visited her yard. Most importantly, Virginia was a wonderful mother and cherished her family with all her heart. She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Stephen) Way; two grandchildren, Heather (Rik) Guenther and Patrick (Jen) Unger; four great-grandchildren, Penelope, Donovan, Nova, and Charlotte; sister-in-law, Faye Mylenek; several nieces and nephews; good friend, Sister Agnes Mary Wojtkowiak; and prayer sister, Sue Elwell. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Helen Mylenek, Carol Mylenek, Skippy Mylenek, John Mylenek, and Jim Mylenek Sr.; and her sister-in-law, Carol “Sue” Mylenek.
